I would never have believed what my six-year old grandson received for his “first pet” unless I had seen it for myself. When asked what does he eat? I learned that his food is kept in a separate cage.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that it only takes one second for “Charlie” to chase the crickets and catch his prey. The rest of the time he spends inside his glass terrarium sometimes staring at the blank wall behind him. There should be a painting of an Australian sunset there for him to look at while he waits to be taken outside for a walk at the park.
And, this ends the Bearded Dragon story about a little boy and his first pet.
