Spring has finally arrived

EVERYTHING started to bloom this week.

First, it was the Cherry Tree Blossoms, and…

Then, the vines on the fence had yellow flowers.

And, in the backyard the Wisteria  perfumed the air.

And, even tipped over spreading petals on the ground.

Today, I noticed a tree full of pink buds & blooms.

And, yet another bush full of yellow miniature roses.

And, then my walk around the lake, led me to my favorite color “Red” with flowers fully opened on the Azalea bush.

Hurrah, Hurrah – Spring has finally arrived!

OH, give us pleasure in the flowers today; And give us not to think so far away As the uncertain harvest; keep us here All simply in the springing of the year…

  1. enjoyed the Frost quotation–yes, let’s not look ahead but enjoy the day!

  2. Isn’t spring lovely? My lilacs have opened and they are really showing off.

  3. Sigh. So beautiful. Here in Finland snow has gone partly, but our lake is still frozen.

  4. Yes, you are having a gorgeous spring! We’re still below freezing in the mornings. Thank you for your kind condolences for my cat Tat…very much appreciated.
    Happy trails~

    • You’re welcome. It’s always interesting to visit your site and read about your small ranch out in Oregon. I hope to visit the West Coast soon. I’m sure there are a lot of good memories surrounding Tat’s life. Our family cat, Mat was special, too; and I plan to write his exciting story one day.

  5. Not one thing blooming here, although I am betting on the first daffodil opening up sometime tomorrow. They look quite “pregnant”…

  6. Fabulous – Happy Spring Mary!

  7. A wonderful post to start my weekend!! Thank you…

  8. … and thanks for Robert frost too… v.
