Authors, Chris Cleave

One of my favorite books is Little Bee. I  discovered it last year when I listened to the audio book from my local library. What a great way to discover an author’s book by listening to it while you drive your car on a long trip or grab thirty minutes, here and there when running errands.

It was my pleasure to meet the British-born author Chris Cleave  today at the Toco Hill-Avis G. Williams library near downtown Atlanta, Georgia where he autographed my copy of his book, Little Bee.

This stop is part of Chris Cleave’s tour discussing his new novel, Gold.  His first book was Incendiary.

Halloween Shadow

Shadow by the Light of the Full Moon

 by Mary Gilmartin

Wait, there’s something about this image I like,” she said as her finger moved away from the delete key.

“Now, she remembers that eery Saturday night.”

It was late the night of 29th of September in the year 2012  when she noticed a shadow in front of her.

The moon was full  and its orange glow somehow gave her safe passage down a darkened driveway.

But, her journey was not complete until she took this photograph.”

“Is it possible Halloween came early this year?”
